6 Top Tips to get the most from your Roller Banner:

    1. Placement
Think about where you are going to place / use your roller banner. It may need to be multi-functional, but usually there is a primary use in mind. This is an important consideration because it can influence the whole layout and design of your roller banner. For example, if you wanted to use it at an exhibition or trade show the bottom half may be obscured by a table. If this is going to be the case you may want to think about not putting vital information towards the bottom of the roller banner, but if it is to be placed in a foyer or shop window then you can utilise the whole space.
    2. Less is More
Don’t get carried away with trying to cram every little bit of information onto your roller
banner. The idea of a roller banner is to grab attention, highlight information and to
promote your brand awareness, not to provide loads of detail. Leave this to your
      company brochure or website.
    3. Keep it Simple
Make it as easy as possible for your customer to read and absorb the information on your roller banner. People are accustomed to reading from top to bottom and from left to right, so bear this in mind when setting the information and images. A quirky design my sound funky, but will be a waste of time if it does not convey your message.
    4. Quality, Quality, Quality
Quality matters! On a roller banner images and pictures will be the main focus drawing attention to your offering and brand. Do not be tempted to skimp on using high res or vectored images. A low res image will distorted and become blurry and pixelated when blown up to be used on the roller banner. Yo need to aim for at least 300dpi. Poor quality images will have a detrimental effect on your image, so make sure you get good ones.
    5. Be Colourful
On a roller banner colour can be your friend. Do not be afraid to go big and bold with images and text and contrast this with a background colour. Keep in mind your brand / logo colours and always be sympathetic with these.
    6. Call to Action
Do not forget to include your contact details on your roller banner along with what action you would like people to take, whether this is to call a number, visit a landing page or come into your store, hotel or restaurant – make it clear! You could even include a QR code on your roller banner for people to scan to get more information.

Let them know who you are!

One of the primary aims of using a roller banner is to get the name and contact details of your company seen. Even though your banner may contain other details too, the call to action is important.

The top of the roll banner is where you’ll get the most attention. It’s a good idea to put your company logo and contact details here.

Design the banner with your call to action at the top and no matter where it stands. Make sure that the important information will be clearly visible to all.
